Do You Know Your Own Power
Do you really know your own power?
Do you believe how powerful you are all the time? At every moment, and every breath?
Or do you forget?
Do you only associate power with times when you feel a certain way - strong, present, grounded?
Or do you think that power is something that you’re not - charismatic, tall, rich?
If I asked you if horses are powerful, you’d say yes, right?
There’d be no caveat to that question. Of course a horse is powerful. It’s not likely that you are going to disagree with a, “but only when they’re running” or, “only when they’re free.”
No one argues for one moment with this idea. It doesn’t matter one iota what a horse is doing in any given moment - they always are powerful. It’s just what they be.
And so are you.
Even when you’re sad.
Even when you’re down.
Even when you’re poor, or think you’re not charismatic, or whatever terrible things your brain tries to convince you of.
None of that matters.
You’re powerful just because you’re you.
If you aren’t sure, then lean on the horse to remember. Lean on the horse’s wisdom to remember the unwavering fact - you are powerful just because you’re you.
